Crew Leader Assistant

Statistics Canada is looking to hire a Crew Leader Assistant in Golden BC to work with the 2026 Census. This is a temporary role, starting April 27th, 2026 and finishing in late July.

Crew leader assistants provide administrative and census-related support to the crew leader they report to and their team. This includes tasks such as assisting with quality checks, offering IT support during training, and providing administrative support such as preparing shipments, etc.

• Crew Leader Assistants must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. 
• The role is work-from-home and the hours are largely flexible, allowing the Crew Leader Assistant the opportunity to work around their existing schedule.
• Crew Leader Assistants receive hourly compensation and are eligible to claim authorized expenses, such as mileage.

If full-time work is desired, a Crew Leader Assistant could also work as an Enumerator (see other Job Posting for more information) for the 2026 Census.
