What is Work in Golden? 

Work in Golden is a job listing portal created by Tourism Golden. It helps connect job seekers and employers in Golden and the CSRD Area A (Columbia Shuswap Regional District), BC.

How do I search and apply for a job? 

Use the search bar to look for jobs by keyword (for example: hotel, cook, ski, summer). You can also narrow your results using filters like industry, season, and part-time or full-time work.

To stay updated, sign up for job alerts so you receive new postings by email.

What do I need to know about living in Golden?

How can I find a place to live?

Housing in Golden and the Kootenays has been limited in recent years, so it’s a good idea to plan your accommodation early. Many rentals are posted in local Facebook groups, including Golden Homes for Rent or Sale, ISO Rentals in Golden, BC, Golden Classifieds, and Golden Community.

What kinds of community groups are there in Golden?

How can I get to Golden without a vehicle?

You have a couple of options depending on the season:

  • Rider Express operates a year-round bus service to Golden.
  • During the winter ski season, the Golden Shuttle offers direct service between Calgary Airport, Golden, and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort.

I am from another country. Where can I get information about immigration programs?

How do I post a job?

To post a job on Work in Golden, you’ll first need to create an employer account with your email and a password. Once you’re registered, log in and go to your dashboard. From there, you can post a new job and manage your postings anytime — edit them, delete them, or unpublish them if needed.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

You can reset it in a few steps. On the login page, enter your email and click “I forgot my password.” You’ll receive an email with a reset link. Please open the link, choose a new password, and confirm it. Then you can log in again as usual.

My logo is not visible. How can I fix it?

Sometimes your logo uploads correctly, but your browser still shows an old version of the page. Try these steps:

  • Refresh the page.
  • Clear your browser history/cache.
  • Log out, then log back in and check again.
