Laundry Attendant

We are a busy 71 room hotel property seeking a reliable person with good time management skills and a good pair of comfortable shoes to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sorts, pre-treats, washes, dries, folds, and delivers laundry to housekeeping
• Ensure washers and dryers operate correctly
• Follows checklists to ensure completion of scheduled tasks within the allotted time frame
• Reports washer and dryer machine issues to the maintenance department
• Maintain inventory levels
• Maintain laundry supplies
• Ensures that area is kept clean and is well maintained
• Maintain a professional image through appearance and dress
• Assist housekeepers with stocking carts, stripping rooms and other duties as needed
   

Required Skills and Knowledge:
 

• Basic knowledge of general laundry cleaning principles uses laundry products, and operation of standard laundry equipment
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, push or pull heavy loads of laundry
• Ability to Stand and walk for 6 to 8 hours a day
• Ability to lift and pull between 30lbs and 50lbs 
• Experience working in a team environment

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $17.50 per hour
