Caretaker / Maintenance Position

Purcell Mountain Lodge | October–January

Purcell Mountain Lodge is seeking a part-time to full-time caretaker/maintenance person to join our team from October through January, with potential for additional work for the right candidate.

The position involves maintaining and troubleshooting our off-grid systems and lodge infrastructure, including:

• Micro-hydro power system
• Sewage treatment plant
• Small engine repairs and maintenance
• Electrical and general mechanical work
• General lodge maintenance and repairs

A Power Engineering background or related work experience would be an ideal asset. We are looking for someone who is mechanically minded, reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in an off-grid environment.

The successful candidate will receive mentorship, training, documentation, and ongoing support from our senior caretaker, providing an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience with a variety of off-grid systems.

Compensation: Competitive salary negotiable based on experience, qualifications and skill set,
