Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Hospitality or a related field.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in hospitality management and lodging operations.
- Experience in overseeing implementation of IT systems/infrastructure in hospitality setting.
- Experience working with international teams is an asset.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems, cloud-based reservation platforms, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience with IT projects, system implementation, and vendor coordination.
- Familiarity with WebResPro or similar property management systems is an asset.
- Ability to coordinate with internal staff, external technology vendors, and international partners.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations and the ability to manage staff across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support operational systems in a dynamic environment.
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Job Description
As the company expands its lodging operations and continues to serve a growing international clientele, the IT & Operations Manager will oversee both technology systems and daily lodging operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences, reliable IT infrastructure, and efficient business performance.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations including reservations, guest services, housekeeping, and staff coordination.
- Supervise, train, and support staff across departments to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor budgets, pricing, and operational performance.
Property & Guest Experience
- Ensure high service standards, handle guest inquiries, and resolve issues.

Oversee property maintenance, safety checks, and seasonal readiness.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with BC regulations, licensing, and safety standards.

Provide regular reports to management and oversea business owners on revenue, system performance, and operational issues.
Vendor and Partner Coordination
- Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and international partners.

Support cross-time-zone collaboration and business continuity.
IT Systems Management
- Manage, maintain and support the company’s IT infrastructure, property management systems, and digital operational platforms.
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of cloud-based reservation and booking systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and security of operational technology platforms.
- Coordinate with external IT service providers and global technology teams for system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Operational and Technical Support
- Provide after-hours technical and operational support as needed
