Housekeeper Attendant

Cedar House Restaurant & Chalets and Alpine Meadows Lodge, both located in Golden B.C., are looking to hire housekeeping attendants.

Together as a team, your role at the core is to create a wonderful and comfortable stay for our guests. We are looking for energetic persons to join our team as a housekeeper in a full time, part-time or casual capacity.

Responsibilities include:

•            Cleaning rooms/chalets and outside areas

•            Washing linen, treating stained linen

•            Cleaning pots, dishes and organising items where necessary

•            Restocking supplies and amenities in the room

•            Hot tub clean up and maintenance (training will be provided)

•            Reporting any damages or maintenance issues

•            Breakfast preparation (if applicable)

Qualities/Requirements:

•            Previous experience an asset but not necessary as training can be provided. Willingness to learn and possessing a professional attitude is more important.

•            Must have full time and/or flexible availability including weekends and statutory holidays

•            Be able to work well alone and in a timely manner

•            Be detail oriented

•            Be able to bend and lift medium size loads

•            Have reliable transportation

Accommodation can be provided.

Salary is commensurate with experience and the season.

Wage starts at $18.25 per hour depending on experience and commitment.

Experience:

•            housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
