Position Overview
The Line Cook plays a key role in maintaining and executing the highest standards of food preparation at the Golden Golf Club Restaurant. Reporting directly to the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager, you will assist in delivering exceptional food and service across all aspects of our food and beverage offerings, including daily restaurant service, special events, and tournaments. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager in maintaining kitchen standards and operating practices.
- Ensure the accurate execution of all restaurant meal periods and food and beverage services.
- Prepare, season, and cook food items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Perform daily prep production of food while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Follow recipes and assist in maintaining the recipe database.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper food storage and safety standards.
- Support the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager in completing food, chemical, and kitchenware orders.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, timing, uniform, and grooming.
- Report any equipment repair needs to the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager.
- Assist in inventory management and accurate reporting of food usage and costs.

Education and Experience
- Minimum two years of experience in a premium casual restaurant.
- Knowledge of classical and proper techniques for all line stations.
- WHIMIS and Food Safe Certified (or willingness to obtain before start date).
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Working Conditions
- Fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Manual dexterity required to operate standard kitchen equipment.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, throughout the season.
