Retail Associate

This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Retail Associate will provide service in the form of product knowledge and general assistance to our guests. This position is expected to uphold our high standards of service, merchandising, and display. We require candidates to work well in a team environment as well as independently. 

• Serve hundreds of guests daily by efficiently operating tills, handling cash/credit transactions, and upselling/promoting products. Connect with guests to suggest items that enhance their visit or help them recall their experience
• Responsible handling of cash, credit cards, and cash out forms
• Keeping the sales floor and storage areas clean and organized
• Ensuring service is friendly, courteous, and professional
• Communicating with co-workers and management
• Forwarding observations and comments from guests in a timely fashion
• The application of upselling and cross selling techniques to maximize the potential of staff incentives
• Facilitating efficient inventory management and movement
• Upholding the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees 

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven ability to upsell and meet/exceed sales targets in a retail or customer-facing environment
• Ability to quickly learn and efficiently operate our POS systems and Storibox photo platform 
• Ability to take initiative on restocking, remerchandising, and regular cleaning duties  
• Strong attention to detail  
• Strong interpersonal skills with fluency in English, allowing you to connect with a diverse global clientele
• Punctual and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

The starting wage for this role is $18.50/hour.
