Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 annually + benefits
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Quartz Creek Cannabis is a licensed retail dispensary proudly serving  Golden, BC. We are passionate about cannabis culture, exceptional customer service, and building a strong, welcoming presence within our community. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our team and oversee daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of daily retail operations, including sales, staffing, inventory, and customer service.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performance team while managing scheduling, performance reviews, and staff accountability.
  • Drive sales through merchandising, promotions, and community engagement in alignment with marketing initiatives.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience, offering knowledgeable cannabis product guidance tailored to customer needs and preferences.
  • Maintain strict compliance with provincial cannabis regulations, health, safety, and security standards.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, daily reconciliation, and banking.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, inventory control, and federal reporting.
  • Promote a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment that reflects the values and mission of Quartz Creek Cannabis.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain long-term loyalty.
  • Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities to expand sales and strengthen brand presence.

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in retail or customer service management, with a proven track record of team leadership.
  • Strong background in staff management (hiring, training, conflict resolution, performance evaluation).
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Strong cash-handling skills and comfort with POS systems.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving industry and embrace change with a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of cannabis products and passion for the industry.
  • Must hold a valid Selling It Right certification and be 19+ years of age.
  • Proficient with Mac OS, Numbers, Pages and comfortable learning new software an asset.
  • Proficient with Greenline POS, Dutchie e-commerce and Canva Design platform an asset.
  • Professional, approachable, and customer-service oriented.

Compensation
