Office Manager / Bookkeeper (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Location: Downtown, Golden, BC

Position Type: Full-Time (~30 hours/week), Temporary (10-Month Contract)

LUSH Mountain Accommodations is seeking an organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Office Manager for a 10-month maternity leave coverage role beginning June 2025. This dynamic, multi-faceted position is suited for someone with a background in hospitality/tourism or administration who thrives in a self-directed environment and enjoys keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping & Financial Administration

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Prepare monthly owner statements and handle payouts
  • Oversee payroll processing
  • Complete monthly account reconciliations
  • File monthly taxes (source deductions, non-resident tax, GST, PST, MRDT)

Reservations & Guest Services

  • Monitor and respond to reservation inquiries via email and phone
  • Provide property quotes and detailed guest information
  • Process booking confirmations and deposits
  • Manage property listings across various extranets (e.g., Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com)
  • Support technical integration and back-end setup in WebRezPro, WordPress, and other platforms

Administrative Support

  • Provide direct assistance to the owner/operator
  • Handle a variety of administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years experience in bookkeeping or financial administration
  • Strong computer skills and tech-savviness
  • Highly organized with strong time-management and multitasking abilities
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Intermediate skills with Excel / Sheets
  • Familiar with using Google Drive or Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable working with point-of-sale and property management systems
  • Previous experience in hospitality or tourism is a strong asset
