Position: Kitchen Production Hand
Location: Golden, BC
Wage: $18–$19/hr
Hours: 24 hours/week
Start Date: As soon as we find the right fit

Are you passionate about good food, quality ingredients, and working with your hands? Mamacita’s Empanadas is looking for a reliable, motivated person to join our production kitchen team in Golden, BC.

This is an entry-level position with plenty of opportunity to learn, grow, and move up within the company. You’ll be part of a small but mighty team that values flexibility, creativity, and community.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare ingredients, cook fillings, and mix dough
• Hand-roll and fold empanadas (don’t worry — we’ll teach you!)
• Package and store finished products
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen environment

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Can follow written recipes and directions
• Is able to lift up to 20 kg (e.g., a large bag of flour)
• Can comfortably stand for extended periods
• Has an eye for detail and an interest in food artistry
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Bonus (But Not Required):

• FoodSafe certification (we’ll pay for it if you don’t have it yet!)
• Any prior experience in a kitchen or food production setting
